Crossfit

For those wanting to step it up in “The Box”, our CrossFit class is open to intermediate athletes and more experienced CrossFitters. Participation in this class level requires a good capacity of movement knowledge and a higher-level skill base. Our fitness domains include: cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. The result is a comprehensive physical fitness program designed for maximum results. The advanced classes for our athletes comprise of tougher conditioning workouts with more advanced movements including Olympic lifting and rope climbing. Advanced classes also address the mental aspects of training that incorporate strategy.

Kid’s Class

CrossFit Insurgent Kids Program is a safe, effective and age-appropriate fitness regimen and is suitable for kids 10-17 yrs. with all levels of athletic ability. Learning from a professional fitness coach at a young age empowers your kid to prevent injury and illness and learn to enjoy exercise! Each CrossFit Insurgent Kids Program is closely monitored by Coach Frank, a certified CrossFit Level 2, who has over 8 years of experience coaching young athletes by creating a customized class designed to improve coordination, speed, agility and power in their performance.
CrossFit Insurgent Kids Program can be modified to fit every individual’s physical level. In each class, the kids are given time to learn and progress on a specific foundational and/or core strengthening skill that will be in the workout. The classes include fundamentals of weightlifting, gymnastics, running, endurance and body-weight training. This includes but is not limited to squats, V-Ups, push-ups, sit-ups, walking lunges, wall balls, etc. Each class includes a motivating warm up and is finished off with an invigorating workout session which lasts approximately 1 hour.
