Heard about CrossFit, but not quite sure what it is exactly? We have you covered. Join us Saturday’s for your free introduction to CrossFit. We’ll lay it all down and show you the fundamentals of our approach to overall wellness and fitness. See what it’s all about and experience the CrossFit way of life. No need to feel weary if you’re a beginner, our wonderful staff is here to make sure you have a great fitness experience. Sill unsure? Bring a friend along for that extra push. But here at CrossFit Insurgent, we have your back. Our motto is “Start To Finish.” We’ll start together and finish together. We’re dedicated to each and every one of our members, and we’re always here to help you tackle your fitness goals. CrossFit 101

To assist new CrossFitters become more comfortable in “The Box”, our introductory class was designed to help new students with entry skill and/or fitness level understand and practice proper technique from the beginning. At CrossFit Insurgent, our classes begin with a 10-minute warm up, followed by a skill, a WOD (Workout of the Day), then a cool down. These WOD’S, constantly varied functional movements, performed at high intensity, are scaled, and modified to each athlete’s level sustained with good form and proper technique. WOD’s change everyday, and combine weight lifting, gymnastics, and conditioning for the ultimate CrossFit workout. As an introductory class for our members, you will experience the fundamentals of CrossFit, which include: methods and philosophy, basic conditioning, movement skill and technique. “Start together, finish together” is our mantra. We’re a dedicated community. Our wonderful staff of certified trainers are here to help you every step of the way.

CrossFit

For those wanting to step it up in “The Box”, our CrossFitclass is open to intermediate athletes and more experienced CrossFitters. Participation inthis class level requires a good capacity of movement knowledge and a higher-level skill base. Our fitness domains include: cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. The result is a comprehensive physical fitness program designed for maximum results. The advanced classes for our athletes comprise of tougher conditioning workouts with more advanced movements including Olympic lifting and rope climbing. Advanced classes also address the mental aspects of training that incorporate strategy.

Personal Training

CrossFit Insurgent trainers are ready and available to help you improve your CrossFit skills and help you reach your personal goals. Get the most out of your CrossFit sessions by expanding your abilities with personal training sessions with any of our qualified trainers. Personal sessions offer more instruction or practice than what you get from the daily WODs; the ability to master a particular skill(s); the need for a motivational push; or if you just want to take on more CrossFit in your life. Our trainers are here to help you succeed in bigger ways you thought possible; take advantage of their expertise!

Maria’s Kids After School Program

CrossFit Insurgent strives to give back to the community by providing a safe, fun and impactful after school program for middle school and high school youths seeking a positive atmosphere for personal growth and development. At CrossFit Insurgent, we put our vision into action by providing a great coaching and mentoring staff that empowers youths in the community by promoting a culture of positivity and excellence. Maria’s Kids After School Program provides a motivational atmosphere to assist youths and student athletes develop strong self-esteem and positive self-image. As one of its founding principles, Maria’s Kids was designed to assist in the fight against child obesity. We provide a safe-zone in the community by assisting youths gain self-discipline in the areas of:

  • Jujitsu
  • Homework Center
  • Goal Setting

Empowering youths to be excellent citizens in the community, Maria’s Kids After School Program centers on building strong pillars of character:

HITTCON fitness

HITTCON (high intensity team training) is a high intensity interval team training program based on functional fitness movements that mimic every day movements. HITTCON is proven to be the most effective workout for weight loss, muscle development, and increased endurance. Every HITTCON class is a full body workout, and no two classes are ever the same, continually challenging your body for maximum results

HITTCON uses proven techniques, Tabata & interval training modes to push your body to burn more calories, consume more fuel, and continue to work hard after the workout is done. Athletes go through a constantly varying series of 5 to 10 fitness stations throughout the 45-minute session, using every part of the body to complete functional tasks. HITTCON workout is proven to build strength and lean muscle, increase energy and improve moods! HITTCON proven team training is most effective , fun and motivating environment that will keep you coming back for more!

CrossFit Football

We use multi-plane compound movements to simulate the demands placed on an athlete during sport. Football, like most field sports, is a game of seconds and inches. CrossFit Football knows the demands placed on players during the game and the distances they will have to travel. With this in mind, we can replicate the stresses and situations a player will face on the field. By combining high intensity movements with a comprehensive strength and speed program, the result is a training program that is unparalleled in the industry.

How do we know CrossFit Football’s programming works? Because it has been designed by NFL players and some of the top coaches in the world. Not only have top athletes created it, but also it has been used to compete at the highest levels of professional sports. The utility of this program is not theoretical; this program was not merely designed by someone that thinks it might work, but by athletes and coaches that have dominated at the highest levels of competitive athletics.

The CrossFit Football program is designed to work for all players regardless of age or experience. The loads, distances, times, intensity, and programming can be scaled, and the program has been designed to meet the needs of athletes at all levels of training advancement.

Every athlete needs to be strong in mind, heart and body. He needs to be fast and explosive. He needs to be able to perform when tired and exhausted. This applies to NFL players, Olympic athletes the same as it applies to Pop Warner and 40-year-old athlete competing in the garage.
